About Prometheus

Prometheus Finance Ltd is a registered New Zealand finance company. Prometheus was originally established in 1983 as a charitable trust following the example set by a number of social  finance organisations in Europe.

Prometheus is a Qualifying Financial Entity

Prometheus Finance is a Qualfiying Financial Entity (QFE) for the purposes of the Financial Advisers Act 2008 and is licensed by the Financial Markets Authority (the government agency that monitors financial advisers) to provide financial adviser services. As a QFE Prometheus takes responsibility for the adviser services provided by its staff.
